Our genuine ACTEON® tips have been designed to bring the best performance, efficiency and safety with Newtron®. ACTEON®’s liability - both legal and with regard to the warranty of parts and accessories - can’t be engaged for the damages that might arise from the use of other than ACTEON® Original tips, such as:
- Lack of performance
- Break-up of the device
- Safety of the patient
How to recognize a worn tip?
For optimal performance and safety, tips must be replaced regularly. The active working area of a tip is limited to the final 3 mm; as this area wears down, efficiency decreases.
Several key indicators can help identify a worn tip:
- Reduced clinical efficiency due to diminished oscillation
- Increased patient discomfort caused by the need for higher power settings
- Overheating of the treated surface
- Greater practitioner fatigue resulting from the need to apply additional pressure
